Munnar a Hill Station with Magical Natural Splendor


Kerala is a treasure trove of many natural magnificence

Most of the journey to Kerala starts from Kochi and as you proceed to this hilly hill station of Munnar through the meandering roads, dotted with tea gardens and emerald green trees, you will find it interesting or you fill feel dizzy and want to get the journey over as fast as possible.  If you love nature and want to enjoy the view of the various wild animals in their natural atmosphere, there are rich flora and fauna in Eravikulam National Park, which is just 15 kms from Munnar and is worth making a trip.

 Till the height of 2695 meters, the bus takes you and from there if you want to see the animals in the wild, you have to trek. From here one can enjoy the fantastic view of the tea gardens and the emerald green natural forest, home to various species of animals, birds and creatures. A stimulating hot cup of coffee and the masala cashew nuts will make the tour even more wonderful as you enjoy the beauty of the rains and the cool weather condition.

In Munnar you will hardly get to eat good fish as it’s a hill station, but it is a treat for you to find various species like pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg apart from the sprawling tea gardens. The markets are known for special bakery items like unni appams and homemade chocolates. While in Munnar you can also visit to the spice gardens or the flower gardens as it is immensely gifted the nature and you will find the how much this little hill station is blessed by the nature.
